I think I forgot about this dress but now I've remembered how much I like the style of the top and the skirt I think I need to pull out the pattern again! The Night and Day dress is probably one of the most versatile and useful patterns out there. It has so many different mix and match styles, all fairly basic, but it gives you SO many options! I'm not a huge Gertie fangirl, but I'm really happy with this one and all the options.
I bought this fabric a year before at a discount store in Maine while I was working and immediately knew exactly what I was going to make out of it. Fast forward a year and I actually made it. Fast forward another year and maybe I'll actually wear it! It's a great woven plaid of black, orange, and purple. I made a little matching bow pin to go with it for some reason, but it's cute. The whole dress is a nice back drop for all my bat accessories! And, you know, a matching mask, because that is still where we are at.
