The Papercut Pinnacle Top! Seems like an appropriate autumn coloured post. And it was made almost exactly a year ago! I was going to put this up last week but a family emergency had me missing work/computer time. So the big halloween project from last year will go up next week and I might be making up a quick halloween shirt as well!
This is such a strangely shaped pattern but I absolutely love how it turned out. I have plans for a few more of them as well, but I haven't gotten around to them yet. Because of the shape of the pattern pieces, it takes up a lot of fabric. I really enjoy it though, I like the V in the front and even the top stitching on the neckline. This one is just made out of a cheap pretty crappy gauze fabric, but nice for those warm fall days. I have plans for one out of a thick french terry fabric as well which will be nice and cozy for winter. I might do the high neck version, but I do love a V neck. If I ever get some better gauze I might make another just like this.
Zero changes made, zero problems with the pattern. Only change I would make would be to match the serger thread better since the sleeves are a bit long to wear not rolled up. Or they are an awkward length for me not rolled up. Good enough for this version though! I sewed it all together on my little Singer Featherweight machine that I actually brought with me on a vacation to Martha's Vineyard last year! Very easy pattern and definitely recommended.
