From a 1935 German pattern magazine. Straight forward pattern, no changes made at all. Unfortunately they are a little see-through, but still wearable! I wore them out during my last trip to the Vineyard, managed to get a picture in the exact same place as a previous picture of different beach PJs. Can't go wrong with beach PJs! And there is no better place to wear them!
The shirt in this photo is just a scarf tied to a necklace, definitely has a 30s feel about it though. The jacket is made from the pattern I used to make the lounging PJs I recently posted, just out of a white cotton and some leftover fabric from the pants for the banding. I had weird plans for the jacket, adding buttons so I could change/add different fabrics to the banding so that they would match different outfits, but my attempts to make things interchangeable always complicate things more than they should and more than is useful, so I ended up leaving it plain.
