This was just a mish mash of patterns to make a little playsuit. Would have been great for the Vineyard if we could have gone this year. Anyway. The fabric was found at a craft resale/repurpose store and was picked out by my boyfriend. I pretty much knew immediately what I would make with it. And I have a fair bit left so I'll have to come up with some other piece, some sort of shirt/top. I'm visualising a 60's boxy crop tank.
The top is a 40s reproduction pattern, Simplicity 8932. Not going to lie, my boobs are too small for this one. The straps are super finnicky and the bust gives me a really weird shape and really needs to have a small bust adjustment if I make it again. It's definitely still wearable though! I went with large snaps instead of buttons
The shorts are a 50s pattern from my collection, Simplicity 4310. Very simple and easy to make. Back zip with button, no pockets or anything. Extremely quick to make. Very close to Gertie's playsuit pattern she has with Butterick, but I have pretty good luck with the shape of vintage patterns, so I decided to go with this one instead. I might make more of these! So quick and easy to make!
The skirt is another reproduction, Simplicity 1166. Another easy one. Not much to say, it's a skirt. Buttons from the stash!
Hope it gets some fun wear this year!
