You know, the other part of my life that I have to live through to have money to buy fabric and travel!
Part of the set that we were filming a commercial. A warehouse in east Boston all decked out. I've been working for the past 3 weeks for this one job, a commercial for a Brasilian company, and it is exhausting (and slightly life-consuming). I even stayed at a hostel in up there for a few nights because I was just so beat and we didn't have any days off! But as hectic as it was, it was kind of fun to be on something big budget for a change -since I never work on movies, this doesn't happen often! Some big names too, which is cool (bragging rights in the industry, it seems: 'Oh yea, I worked on the last *insertbignamehere* job, didn't you?' People are so annoying.). We even had Colleen Atwood for wardrobe...that is just amazing. (You know, and other people the rest of you have heard of, lol, but as far as awards go, she is the biggest!)
Just to give an excuse for not posting any sewing related things. I've been run ragged. I finished something before this job started, and the job is almost at an end, so maybe I'll get around to that soon! And hopefully start something new! I have today off as well, a snow day :) Just like back in school! Hope everyone out there is doing well!
P.S. Hostelling International - Boston :: Great place, highly recommend if you are looking for somewhere in the area!
