Destruction Brook. What kind of name is that? Ominous. Anyway, another lovely day at the end of May. We went to Destruction Brook in Dartmouth, Massachusetts to go for a hike and to find some wild Lady Slipper orchids. There are about a million of them in the woods here. Very nice. Almost makes up for the lack of other wildflowers! It's no Texas wildflower meadow, that is for sure. Lovely walk, nice forest, water, some people riding horses, and I wore bug spray so it was all quite pleasant!
