It has been sunny and in the 60's all week. I'm glad spring is finally here! Winter seems to last forever EVERY year. I've been out in the garden every day this week getting it ready, pulling weeds and picking up leaves. Blasted weeds. I think it'll be much less work than it was last year though, so more time to enjoy it maybe :) Nothing is really in bloom yet, but leaves are just starting to pop out and the forsythia and cherry trees are almost full out! Love those early bloomers. They are like their own little rays of sunshine telling you that winter is over.
And here is a closeup picture of the giant maple tree outside my window right before the leaves pop out :)
I'm sure I'll take more pictures once more flowers pop out and my favourite local nursery opens its doors May 1st. I'll be there!
