I used to be pretty single focused when it came to projects, but lately I've been doing like, 20 things at once. If I do enough, maybe one will get finished, lol. I'm renovating the attic, the bathroom, sewing projects, craft projects, redoing a giant steamer trunk, redecorating the sewing room, etc. Well, one of my smaller craft projects actually got finished!! Yay!
I've had this bag hanging up in my sewing room (I need a better name...my studio? Atelier?) for ages, just holding plastic bags for trash or bag linings. But it was boring and ugly. Just an old jean bag.
I saw a craft project for drawing on things with bleach, so that was my first attempt. So I chose a design that was white. But it didn't work so well (bleach only bleaches when you don't want it to, apparently). So, paint pens! I can do any colour with paint pens! So I kept my original design and added a few extras. Sketch the design with chalk, go in with the paint, and wipe off the chalk once it is dry!
A small few would recognise the pictures, but they are two of my absolute favourite street artists in Paris, Nemo and Mesnager. And they super make me smile when I see it!!
