Of the 5 or more projects that I've done that I haven't gotten online yet, I start with this one. One that I did like, 3 years ago. Lovely :P
I never posted before because whenever I first made the thing--all finished: hems done, boning in, etc, the blasted thing was way too big. So, a lesson I've learned from my years of sewing and refitting is that just nipping and tucking a dress to make it fit always looks like crap. But I had been stalling on this one because I didn't want to have to undo all that serger work or redo boning channels. Not to say I'm awesome, but it was a well made dress! But, honestly, what else do I really have to do?? So....I did it. Fits perfectly now :) New dress for the summer! The lining is bright red and I also made a red petticoat a few years back that'll be perfect for it, to give is a fuller, more vintage look (should I so desire). I love this fabric.
Cool. More already finished projects soon! Maybe :P I haven't been in the mood for taking pictures of myself, feels so self-centered sometimes, lol. I wish I had a model to use.

Also, weird note....my hair seems to be curly/wavy this summer. This has never happened to me before....I don't really know what to do with it.
