Been a while since I posted anything! I have a complicated (well, involved) doll costume I finished that I need to post, along with a dress that I finished a few weeks ago. I've started cutting out a pattern for a big Toothless plush (How to Train your Dragon) and am about to start on a summer dress.
But, to space it out a bit, here is a knitting roll I finished for my sister a few months ago but I waited to post it until she came to visit and I could give it to her. So, she got to see it, so now I'm posting :)
I should have put a ruler next to it, just to show how long the thing is. It is pretty small when folded up. If you care enough, the floor boards are 2 1/4 inches, just to give you an idea. I forgot to measure it before I gave it to her. It has a magnetic clasp, tons of different sized pockets with mini bias tape on the edges, large pockets to fit those round needles, small ones for the little double pointed needles, and some separate pockets on the end for....whatever. The needles in there are from my limited needle collection, just to show you. I also took into account the bulk of the fabric and the needles and stitched where you are supposed to fold it so that it closes and everything :)
Anyway, I like the way it turned out!
Just a summer robe I made. Shorter because it is hot in the summer. Kimono-esque style. The only reason I really posted this is for the second picture. I upped the contrast so you could see the super adorable fabric it is made out of. It is a soft, textured, checkered CLASSIC POOH fabric. I LOVE classic pooh :) It is so adorable. The neck and arm edges are the reverse side of the fabric, just the opposite blue/light blue.
The last picture is just a picture of some more adorable fabric I had that I made some PJs out of :)
That's all! I'll mess with the doll pictures tonight (and see if the lighting was just too terrible and if I have to retake the pictures or not) and post them tomorrow.
