Well, this first picture is of something I made for my parents for Christmas, but I'm counting it for my Project 365 since it was the only picture I took that day.

Excuse my look, I had just woken up. It is one of those blankets with sleeves (click here for pattern). I made two of them, this orange was for my mom and a navy blue one for my dad. And other than the orange and blue fuz that took over the house, it was remarkably easy to make. My sister and I figured that they would use them during the winter in their house up in Massachusetts. But seeing as I am going to be the one up there in the winter, I should probably either take my dad's or make one for myself :P
This is a pillow that I made for my sister....who likes peacocks, obviously. It sort of took me a while to applique all that fabric, but I enjoyed making it. Got to use up some of the metallic thread I had in my stash as well. I really like this pillow :) So, made with a bunch of different types of fabrics, machine appliqued with metallic thread, and some beading stitched on. Not terribly useful as a pillow, but decorative!
That's all for today! My parent's house is being shown by some real estate person today, so I have to clean up a bit and then get out of the house by 10:30. Plenty of time :) Maybe they'll sell the house so that they can move up to Massachusetts. Not that I mind being by myself up there, but having any furniture at all will be nice.
