Yes, I was horrible today and spent the ENTIRE day sewing a coat instead of studying. Bad move, I'm totally behind. But, I'm a little closer to finishing my jacket! Then I can focus on making Christmas presents. I've also realised I never posted my last projects on here either. The skirt, jumper/dress, and the shirt dress I made from a 50's pattern (not repro :) I don't have pictures at the moment, but I'll take some and post them later. I took my 50's shirt dress on my recent trip to Massachusetts and it was wonderful :) I'm very proud of it, one of the first things I've made that I've actually worn out somewhere! I was working on it up until the night before I left to get it ready, lol. Ridiculous I know. So anyway, here is a jacket, just some McCall's pattern. I'm not totally finished, a few finishing touches and a hem still to go. I'm enjoying the fabric though, especially the lining.
Cute, yeah? It's almost like a cape :) I really need to find some long leather gloves to wear with it.
So, now, after my school work and more papers I have to write (seriously, even my sister said she never had to write this many papers and she was an ENGLISH major) I have 3 gifts I have to make for people for X-mas, clothes and bags and whatnot, and there is a vintage pattern I have for a dress that I bought some bright red satin-y fabric for that I want to make before X-mas so I can possibly wear it to The Nutcracker that I'm going to. We'll see :) I'm going to try my hardest though! I've got over a month.....
Hopefully I'll catch up on posting pictures of my previous projects and vacation...

I can't believe I didn't get any homework done today. Pathetic.
